The PRS Order Exchange: The PRS Order Exchange allows manufacturers and distributors to capture customer orders without undercutting the dealer network. Orders are accepted by the manufacturer/distributor, sent through The Exchange for bidding and fulfillment and reach the customer in record time, building business for you and your dealer network. Dealers are rewarded for stocking your inventory by eligibility to fulfill these orders. This reduces incentives for internet-only dealers and helps reduce your inventory carrying costs.
As consumers submit product orders at your website, the orders are forwarded to The Exchange. At set intervals the solution assigns the orders to eligible dealers for bidding. Eligibility is determined by configurable business rule sets including geographic proximity, dealer performance scoring, available inventory, and other factors. Once orders are assigned each day, dealers may then bid to fulfill. The exchange then tracks the dealer fulfillment to ensure they are meeting their service levels.
Access to the exchange is made through an internet portal that includes dealer performance reports, eligible orders, manufacturer/distributor notifications, and critical communication updates.
ConsumerConnect: With so much business lost to online competition, manufacturers and distributors are highly incented to ensure that their dealers provide a strong eCommerce presence. ConsumerConnect provides each seller with a custom templated eCommerce website where consumers can search and browse products, place orders, view order status, sign up for newsletters and specific product updates, and much more.
The website content is centrally managed so changes to pricing and products are immediately communicated to the entire network and available for purchase and distribution. Websites are not pre-canned layouts. They can be highly customized for individual look and feel to represent the brand that the dealer is promoting. Orders can be fulfilled by distribution centers, submitted to The Exchange, or direct from the dealer’s stock. Billing may be centralized or decentralized.
